ACT* vs SAT* Pretest
In response to the increasing popularity of the ACT*, Anderson Tutoring Center now offers a pretest designed to determine ahead of time which test your student prefers or is more inclined toward.

This pretest contains small portions of sample SAT* and ACT* tests and can provide families with valuable strategic information in advance. Knowing which test is a better match for your student can guide the entire test prep process.

Pre-Register Younger Students
What is It?
If you have students in 9th grade or younger, you can pre-register them now for SAT* test prep with no registration form or deposit due.

Why Do It?
Pre-Registration will give you first choice for SAT* classes when we open registration in subsequent years. The sooner you pre-register, the higher on our list your name will be.

About the Test
The SAT* test is a logic and reasoning test consisting of tricky questions with tricky answers. It is composed of ten short sub-tests; three math, three reading, three writing, and one experimental. The SAT* exam is accepted by most colleges and universities.

Course Description
This 35-hour course prepares students for their first SAT* exam. Small classes of four students will learn the strategies and subject material necessary for success. Students will find themselves in an engaging and lively classroom environment led by experienced, well-reputed, and fun instructors. Two full practice tests complete with thorough, individualized error analyses are included.

Cost
The cost of this SAT* course is $1,700, with a non-refundable deposit of $500 is required at the time of registration. The balance of tuition will be due before the first day of class.

If you opt for the ACT* add-on class (see below), the total deposit of $750 is required at the time of registration with a final balance of $1,450 due on or before the first day of class.

Consider the ACT
We offer a 13-hour add-on course that addresses the differences between the SAT* and the ACT* and outlines key strategies for success on the ACT*. Course content builds directly on the material students learned in SAT* class, thus maximizing what they have already studied. Small classes of four students will find themselves in an engaging and lively classroom environment led by experienced, well-reputed, and fun instructors. One full practice test complete with thorough, individualized error analysis is included.

Make a Test Plan
High school juniors should carefully map out their standardized testing plan for this crucial year. Students will take some combination of the PSAT, the SAT* (often taken more than once), the ACT*, Subject Tests, and AP* Exams. When HSPAs, midterms, and final exams are factored in, students may find themselves testing every month! Plan ahead, consider extracurricular activity schedules, and set completion goals.
