workshops:
A Timeline for Junior Year - Starting the College Process
This workshop will help students create an individualized timeline of all the events required for juniors pertaining to the college admissions process. Students will take a blank calendar of the school year and fill in a complete timeline for completion of SAT prep/testing, college visits, and numerous other college-related tasks.

Introduction to the PSAT
Our one-day (6-hour) workshop introduces the unique features of the PSAT and familiarizes students with the test format. We will walk students through all sections of the PSAT (math, reading, and writing), introduce key strategies, and reinforce underlying concepts. By the end of the workshop, students will know what to expect on test day as well as how to better approach the test overall.

ACT vs SAT Pretest
In response to the increasing popularity of the ACT*, Anderson Tutoring Center now offers a pretest designed to determine ahead of time which test your student prefers or is more inclined toward.
